Fairtrade Fortnight

Fairtrade Fortnight 2011 is fast approaching and Sunderland Partnership is getting involved.

Here in Sunderland we are a recognised Fairtrade City and we are supporting Fairtrade Fortnight 2011, which is running from 28th February through to 13th March.

Here is what the Fairtrade Foundation have to say about Fairtrade Fortnight 2011...

For Fairtrade Fortnight 2011 we're asking the nation to show off about buying Fairtrade which offers 7.5 million people in the developing world a more secure future.

You can show off Fairtrade any way you want. Take part in our bunting record attempt, hold a fashion show with your friends, or be loud and proud about how your business supports farmers and workers in developing countries.

We've got all sorts of tools to help you do it. So whether you're a school, business, supporter or campaign group, look around this site, get inspired and get ready to Show Off Your Label.

For more information go to Fairtrade Fortnight - Show Off Your Label
