The Sunderland Partnership works together to provide a range of opportunities for local people to get involved. This might include volunteering, getting your voice heard by voting or taking part in consultations. Click the links below to find out more about the many different ways you can get involved.

	Voting Using your vote is the strongest way for you to have your say. Make sure you are on the electoral register.		Talk to your Councillor or MP There are 75 elected councillors in Sunderland. They are there to represent your views. Sunderland is also represented by 4 Members of Parliament.
	Get involved in a local group or network Explore the Your Community...your say directory to find out how to get involved in groups and networks in your area.		Take part in consultations across Sunderland This may include taking part in surveys, events, meetings and exhibitions about a range of services and issues. Recent topics include library services and the seafront.
	Local Area Committees Come to a committee to discuss services and local issues about your area.		Volunteering Find out about volunteering opportunities in the city.
