The Sunderland Partnership is committed to Improving the quality of consultation and involvement activity and feedback provided across the city. In order to do this we want to share and promote best practice.
Here are some recent examples of some of the good work that has been carried out in Sunderland.
The Sunderland Partnership Consultation and Involvement Group plan to host an annual conference to:
- Share best practice
- Learn about innovatory consultation techniques
- Discuss relevant legislation and guidance for consultation and involvement.
The Sunderland Consultation and Involvement Code of Practice sets out the commitments and best practice princliples of engaging with the Voluntary and Community Sector.
Practitioners can also get help and advice from the Sunderland Partnership Consultation and Involvement Group when planning to consult.
There is also an opportunity to find out about current consultations, register interest in future consultations and to see what has happened as a result of past consultations on the Consultation Calendar. Using the calendar may help to provide information for research purposes as well as opportunities for joint working on future consultations.
