The Second Annual Sunderland Compact Conference was held on Tuesday 3 November 2009 at the Swan Street Centre. The day provided opportunities for approximately 60 delegates to hear about the latest developments with the Sunderland Compact, contribute to the action plans that will make the Compact real and hear about national developments on the Compact from the Compact Advocacy Project.
A number of presentations were made throughout the day:

The aim of the event was to bring together key stakeholders who contributed to the Consultation of the Sunderland Compact and the Supporting Codes of Practice.
The event was well attended with 38 delegates and enabled us to provide feedback from the consultation and to plan and agree the next steps.

The First Annual Sunderland Compact Conference was held on Monday 31 March 2008 at Stadium of Light. The event was very well attended by over 110 delegates from across the Sunderland Partnership.
The purpose of the event was to show partners what the Compact can do for them by looking at:
- Where are we at?
- Where do we need to be?
- What is in it for partners?
- How we can keep the Compact alive?

The launch was very well attended with over 120 delegates. The purpose of the day was to provide partners the opportunity to find out more about:
- Why we need to Refresh the Sunderland Compact
- The process we will be going through
- The five Codes of Practices and how to become involved in developing them for Sunderland
