The focus of the Attractive and Inclusive City Partnership is to ensure that Sunderland becomes a clean, green city with a strong culture of sustainability that nurtures its natural and built environment. Sunderland will be a place that is recognised inside and outside the city as an attractive and accessible place to live, work, study and visit, with a high quality and welcoming physical environment.

Aims and priorities
The aim of the group is to connect people and places. People should feel a connection with their surroundings and feel that they are part of a community.
Several sites have been selected for major regeneration to provide new buildings for leisure, culture, retail, learning and employment creating dynamic spaces that residents and visitors can enjoy. Residents should be part of this process and given influence over decisions that will affect their communities.
