Specialist Advisory Groups
International Strategy Group
Oversees the ongoing development of the Sunderland Partnership's International Strategy and co-ordination of development activity.
City Marketing Group
Supports strategic development of the image of the city through the Image Strategy, co-ordinates strategic marketing planning across the city through joint working and promotes the work of Sunderland Partnership and the aims and objectives of the Sunderland Strategy.
Community Development Strategy Group
Responsible for implementing the Community Development Plan to support the delivery of the Sunderland Strategy, creating a network for partners to share information and knowledge and co-ordinate joint community development activities, and assisting the Board in making evidence based decisions towards delivery of the Sunderland Strategy. |

Independent Advisory Groups (IAGs)
There are 7 IAGs which bring togerther hard to reach groups to ensure that their views are heard and included as part of the delivery of the Sunderland Strategy.
Digital Challenge Board
Has an overview of the work of the project. It ensures the work can be replicated in other areas, monitors potential risks posed by the project and manages assets.
Fairtrade Steering Group
The Fairtrade steering group co-ordinated the city’s bid for Fairtrade status and will continue to monitor progress to ensure that the partnership is successful in its annual accreditation. This involves the management of on-going promotional and awareness raising activities, and seeking to engage with a range of audiences. |
